Dylan Hays' teammates and peers at Little Rock Christian Academy called the Hogs as the offensive lineman signed on to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks at a National Signing Day ceremony Wednesday.
Hays, who stands at 6 feet 3 inches and weighs 280 pounds, committed to play for Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema earlier this week over competing offers from Missouri, Indiana and Central Arkansas.
"It's a great feeling. I've always wanted to be a Hog, and it's going to be crazy that I'm going to be able to live it out, my dream," Hays said after a packed ceremony at the high school's Warrior Hall.
Four other Warriors football players and a girls volleyball player announced their commitments to play in college at Wednesday's ceremony.
Damarea Crockett, who was named a first-team AR Preps running back, announced his intent to play for Arkansas' SEC rival Missouri.
