? Ten lanes, eight lanes, a boulevard w/stop lights???? Guy's, this is an interstate interchange. No stop lights, can't believe this is even a thought. Who wants to stop!!!! Also, ten lanes are better than eight. Do you not expect traffic to increase in time?? Safety, efficiency and ease should be the priorities!! Create it, then make it pretty. This is like the challenge of past for painting/lighting the bridges. Get it done!!! Geeezzzz!!!

A compromise was needed and it's being worked towards that goal. It's a good thing when opposing ideas come together in the middle.

A mayor who is so inconsequential to the daily workings of city government (he has Bruce Moore) that he can spend over two hours driving around the city getting on the job training as traffic engineer? Politics over progress. Developers and their friends prevail. Downtown must be preserved and protected regardless. Nothing has changed other than the suits involved.

I don't have a dog in this hunt other than my travels on I-30 on a regular basis....!!!! I-30 thru downtown Dallas is still the same size as it has been for years and a heck of a lot more traffic... Other than people downtown in Dallas most go around Dallas. If the Interchanges on the South side (I-530, I-440 & I-30) and the North side (I-40 & I-30) were reworked to do away with the single lanes merging into those roads, seems like it would make more sense. Route all truck traffic around unless they are making a delivery in downtown Little Rock. Fix the connecting roads and streets coming into the Industrial areas so that they are safer. Yes the I-30 River Bridge is obsolete and needs to be replaced. First fix the Loop around the Metro area, then replace the bridge. There is no need for 10 lanes through Little Rock and North Little Rock, the Interchanges on each end are what slows down traffic.!!!!!!!! Use a little common sense....!!!!!!!

ONCE BENTON/BRYANT GETS A FEW MORE RESTAURANTS , JUST MOVE THERE NOW THAT DEMON ALCOHOL CAN BE BOUGHT BY CONSENTING ADULTS.

DOWNTOWN RIVERMARKET SHOULD BE ROPED OFF AND TURNED INTO A UTOPIAN PARADISE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO BE BIG CITY TYPES. DRONES COULD FLY OVER WITH AIR TO SURFACE MISSILES TO CHASTISE ANY BAD GUYS.

THEN EVERYBODY COULD BE DIRECTED AROUND LR TO POINTS SOUTH ON I-30, THOSE WHO WANT TO GO TO PB [WHY] CAN GO ACROSS THE RIVER BRIDGE WITHOUT A LOT OF TRAFFIC. OK CITY I BELIEVE IS AN EXAMPLE OF CONGESTION OF GETTING MAJOR TRAFFIC TOO CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN.

LR, WILL LEAVE YOUR MODERATION TO DISPUTE WITH DR.

Fennel has a point. Does I-30 have to go through downtown? Since I-440 is there why not make it I-30, extend I-630 to it and make what's now I-30 in downtown local traffic only? That would separate the local traffic from the through traffic.
