Man hurt after falling from North Little Rock portion of pedestrian bridge

A man was hurt after falling from a North Little Rock portion of the Junction Bridge on Friday afternoon, according to police.

North Little Rock police spokesman Sgt. Brian Dedrick said authorities responded to a call about 1:55 p.m. The man's injuries were not considered life-threatening.

It was not clear to police where and how the man fell onto a pedestrian walkway below, Dedrick said. The man's identity has not been released as of Friday afternoon.

The pedestrian and bicycle bridge connects Little Rock to North Little Rock across the Arkansas River.
