FAYETTEVILLE -- The Arkansas women's basketball team is looking to end a four-game losing streak when it plays host to Vanderbilt at 6 tonight in Bud Walton Arena.

It won't be an easy task.

Vanderbilt (15-7 overall, 4-5 SEC) is a half game better than Arkansas (9-14, 4-6) in the conference standings, and the Commodores specialize in defense and rebounding.

The Commodores rank second in the SEC in defense, allowing 52.9 points per game. Offensively, sophomore guards Christa Reed and Rachel Bell lead a unit that ranks second in the SEC in both total field goal percentage and three-point field goal percentage.

Vanderbilt is 4-5 on the road for the season, including a 2-3 mark in SEC games with victories at Alabama and Kentucky.

The Razorbacks are coming off a 75-57 loss to No. 23 Tennessee in Knoxville.

Arkansas, which will be trying to avoid its second five-game losing streak of the season, is 6-3 at home with three of those victories coming against Top 25 teams.

The Commodores have lost their past two games, losing at home to Georgia and at Auburn.
