Officers were called at 10:57 a.m. to a report of forgery at a U.S. Bank branch at 3703 McCain Blvd., police spokesman Sgt. Brian Dedrick said. When an officer approached a woman in the drive-thru lane, she drove away and "struck the officer with the front of her vehicle, causing a cut to his left hand," Dedrick said.

Police said the injury was minor.

After striking another vehicle, Renee Lynn Gerken, 30, of Florida was soon found and arrested at an Arby's restaurant nearby on McCain Boulevard, according to Dedrick.

Gerken was charged with second-degree forgery, second-degree battery, aggravated assault and fleeing.

She was being held in the Pulaski County jail late Tuesday.
