Highly regarded junior offensive lineman Kevin Jarvis said as of now, Arkansas was his top school.

He revealed the news on the Recruiting Thursday radio show earlier tonight.

Jarvis, 6-6, 340 pounds of Park Ridge, (Ill.) Maine South picked up an offer from the Razorback on Feb. 3. He also has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Illinois, Rutgers, Syracuse and others.

Jarvis said his relationship with offensive line coach Kurt Anderson, a Chicago native, was a key for his interest in Arkansas. He said he's 100 percent sure he'll visit Fayetteville.

National recruiting analyst Tom Lemming of CBS Sports Network rates Jarvis a 4-star prospect.

“He will be the top offensive lineman in the state of Illinois for 2017,” Lemming said. “He has great size, good coordination and is technically sound. Plays for one of the top offenses in the state.”
