2:30 P.M. UPDATE:
A Bald Knob man has claimed a $100,000-winning ticket, Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials said Thursday.
Jimmy Pearrow won an extra $50,000 for purchasing the Power Play option on the Powerball ticket, the lottery said.
EARLIER:
Someone who bought a ticket in Bald Knob won $100,000 in Wednesday's Powerball drawing.
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery said the as-yet-unclaimed ticket matched four of the five white balls along with the Powerball, a combination that pays $50,000. The player also bought the Power Play option, which in Wednesday's drawing doubled the prize.
No one won the jackpot.
The $100,000 ticket was purchased at Bald Knob Market on U.S. 64 East. The store is eligible for a $1,000 bonus, the lottery said in a statement.
The next Powerball drawing is set for Saturday, when the jackpot is estimated at $176 million.
