Police: Woman held 53 forged gift cards

Little Rock police officers arrested a Chicago woman at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport/Adams Field on Friday after they found among her belongings 53 gift cards re-encoded with stolen credit card numbers, according to an arrest report.

Marquita Dixon, whose 28th birthday was Saturday, was attempting to purchase a plane ticket with a gift card on Friday morning at the airport, the report said. Officers then asked Dixon if they could search her belongings.

Dixon agreed, and officers found 92 gift cards, 53 of which had been tampered with.

Dixon was arrested just after 9 a.m. and charged with 53 counts of second-degree forgery, which is a Class C felony. She remained in Pulaski County jail Saturday night in lieu of a $79,500 bond.
