FOUNDATION BANQUET

Two Rotary scholars speak at annual district gathering

Rotarians from central and Northwest Arkansas gathered at the Clinton School of Public Service for a reception Feb. 5 before moving to the Great Hall of the Clinton Presidential Center for the annual District 6150 Foundation banquet.

The program began with a welcome, invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance followed by District Governor Paul Ford of Searcy introducing the evening's guest speakers: Arjola Limani and Demas Soliman. The two are Rotary Global Grant Scholars at the Clinton School of Public Service.

After dinner, guests heard from the featured speaker of the evening, past Rotary International President Ray Klinginsmith of Kirksville, Mo.

Money raised from the banquet will benefit Rotary Foundation, which helps Rotary clubs and districts work together on a variety of community and humanitarian projects.
