Maintenance on a section of Interstate 40 in Prairie County will require temporary closures of the eastbound lanes this week beginning today, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
The maintenance work will require closing a 3-mile section of eastbound I-40 between Hazen and Biscoe from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily through Friday, weather permitting.
The outside eastbound lane will be closed today and Wednesday, and the inside eastbound lane will be closed Thursday and Friday, the department said.
