UAMS' Gray named to tech park board

Nancy Gray, director of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Bioventures, has been appointed to the Little Rock Technology Park Authority Board, the tech park's executive director, Brent Birch, said Tuesday. Gray replaces Tom Butler, the retired UAMS vice chancellor for administration and government affairs.

Her first meeting will be the board's regularly scheduled monthly meeting today, when the board plans to go over details of the finance package for Phase 1 land acquisition and renovation plans for the $100 million tech park.

UAMS is a sponsor of the tech park, and Gray was appointed by Chancellor Dr. Dan Rahn.

Board member and retired Acxiom executive Kevin Zaffaroni was reappointed to a five-year term and will serve as vice chairman.
