One of the nation's top offensive linemen plans to officially visit Arkansas the last weekend in January.

Hog offensive line target Patrick Hudson, 6-5, 330 of Silsbee, Texas said Thursday night that he plans to visit Fayetteville Jan. 29-31. Georgia offensive line coach Sam Pittman visited him Thursday.

Arkansas defensive backs coach Clay Jennings has been recruiting the Under Armour All American. ESPN rates Hudson the No. 1 offensive guard and No. 36 overall prospect in the nation.

Arkansas commitment Kiel Pollard, 6-2, 225, 4.68 of Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt Count said receivers coach Michael Smith attended his basketball practice on Thursday. He said on Twitter they had a great talk. He plans to visit South Carolina this weekend.

Former Minnesota offensive line commitment Sean Foster of Mundelein, (Ill.) Carmel Catholic said Arkansas offensive line coach Kurt Anderson will visit him next week.

Highly regarded junior tight end Jake Marwede of Wilmette (Ill.) Loyola Academy said he and tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. are in touch pretty often and he's hoping to visit Fayetteville this winter or spring.

Marwede, 6-5, 230 pounds, 4.70 seconds in the 40-yard dash, has more than 10 scholarship offers from schools that include Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Nebraska, Northwestern and Syracuse. The Hogs are his lone SEC offer.
