A 91-year-old Waldron man was killed when his pickup left the road and struck a tree in Scott County Monday, Arkansas State Police said.
Authorities identified the victim as Wayne Horn. A police report said the crash happened around 12:45 p.m. as Horn was driving a 2006 Toyota Tundra around a westbound curve on Arkansas 80.
Police described the conditions at the time of the crash as cloudy and dry.
It is the 16th fatality on Arkansas roads so far in 2016, according to preliminary police records.
