19-year-old arrested in 2015 slaying of UAPB student

A 19-year-old man faces a charge of capital murder after a 2015 home invasion that left a University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff student dead from a gunshot wound, according to police.

Harold Magee of Pine Bluff was arrested Wednesday and will be booked into the Jefferson County jail after evidence was discovered that linked him to the homicide, the Pine Bluff Police Department said in a statement.

Keith Wilbert Jr., 21, was gunned down about 2 a.m. Sept. 23 after three armed men forcefully entered his home at 4302 Boone St. in Pine Bluff, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported.

Four other residents were inside at the time but were not injured, according to police.

Police said Wednesday that an investigation into Wilbert's death is ongoing.
