Harold Magee, 19, of Pine Bluff was arrested "after evidence that linked Magee to the murder was discovered," according to a news release from the Pine Bluff Police Department.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and released no further details regarding Magee's arrest.

Magee was booked into the Jefferson County jail at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday, police said. He was being held there Wednesday night without bail.

Wilbert, 21, died after being shot about 2 a.m. Sept. 23 at his home at 4302 Boone St. in Pine Bluff during a home invasion, police said earlier.

Three armed men forced open a door at the home and demanded money from Wilbert and four others in the house, according to a police report. The men then shot Wilbert before running away.

The men wore bandannas covering their faces and hooded sweatshirts, police reported.

It was unclear in police reports whether the robbers took any money.

Police said they found a .40-caliber shell casing on a television stand inside the house.

Wilbert, a Little Rock resident, was a junior at UAPB majoring in agriculture business. He was to graduate next spring.

The four other residents of the home, all UAPB students, were not injured, according to police.

Wilbert's family announced in December that they were offering a $10,000 reward for information about his death.
