DEPUTYSPRETTYPENNY** is taking a slight drop on the heels of a close second-place finish at Fair Grounds, and trainer Karl Broberg will start heating up soon. CAROL'S FLYER raced well in a "key" entry-level allowance race last out at Remington, and she was a four-time winner in 2015. GABIO has won two of her last three races while competing at Hawthorne, and she has early speed and keeps her regular rider.

SMELLY CAT*** raced evenly in a recent turf race at Fair Grounds, but she defeated restricted two-turn allowance rivals on the main track in her previous race, and her dirt Beyer figures are also best in this field. TIZ SEXY NOW recorded a conditioned claiming sprint victory at Keeneland, and her sprinter's speed makes her the one to catch and this route distance. BATTLE TALE has been on the bench since July, but she races well against allowance foes last winter at Oaklawn, and seems to be working well for winning connections.

GLACKEN'S GHOST**** finished a competitive fourth in a career debut at Fair Grounds, and he is dropping into state-bred company and has the look of a short-priced winner. CARSON'S SUSPECT contested the pace in a second-place debut at Delta Downs, and he has recorded a pair of good works at Oaklawn and picks up leading rider Ricardo Santana. I AM is an unraced colt with a speedy pedigree, and may have tipped his hand in a rapid four-furlong breeze Jan. 15.

COTTON CLUB CUTIE** was a five-race winner last season, and the front-running route runner has finished no worse than second in three starts with today's rider aboard. LET'S SKIP FIJI has rallied from far back in consecutive in-the-money finishes at Hawthorne, and the pace figures to be at least honest. BOX OFFICE APPEAL finished 2015 riding a two-race winning streak, and the Indiana shipper recorded a bullet 6-furlong work and picks up a winning rider.

GRALING*** has three months worth of sharp works at five furlongs, and the first-timer finished preparations with a bullet gate work thirteen days back and trainer Diodoro sports a good win percentage with this kind. TESSA'S TREAT has a series of encouraging works leading up to her career debut, and few in the region can get one ready to win better than trainer Chris Richard. GRANTASTICA has been working well for a few months while preparing for his first race, and Hall of Fame trainer Jack Van Berg is off to a fast start at the meeting.

ALI'S BIRTHDAY** has done most of his best racing at Oaklawn Park, and he ships from Kentucky at the top of his game. COWBOY ED defeated an entry-level allowance field only two races back in Canada, and the front-running danger has never finished out of the money in five local races. RUSSDICULOUS finished second in a $10,000 claimer at Remington, and he is switching to our leading rider.

INDIAN BRAVA** has been sidelined since June, but she won her first two starts last winter previous to a third-place finish in the $100k Instant Racing. RACHEL'S READY was beaten only a neck in a $50,000 sprint stake at Turfway, and she may stand an improved chance if the track is wet. FICTIONALITY has hit the board in all five of her career races at Oaklawn, and she finished her 2015 campaign with a good effort at this level at Remington.

WEAST HILL** won her debut and the Rainbow Stakes in two local races in 2015, and the front-running gelding shows good works for a stable that in very good with horses returning from a layoff. THE ROCK ROLLS was a clear second-level allowance winner in his last race at Remington, and the in-form sprinter has won two of three races at Oaklawn. CONQUEST BIGLUCK E is a lightly raced colt who started his career with two wins and a stakes-placed showing at Woodbine, and he is back at his best distance after being overmatched in a two-turn stake Pimlico.

TELLING METZIE** finished third in a two-turn maiden allowance race just two races back at Keeneland, and she has route speed and a winning trainer-rider team. HELLO EVERYBODY rallied to second in a one-turn mile at Churchill, and she is a steadily improving filly who was claimed last out by trainer Kelly Von Hemel. EXOTIC WAGERING POSIBILITIES

• The third race has a likely winner in Glacken's Ghost and he makes a good "key" horse in 10-cent superfecta wagers and one should use several in the bottom three spots while looking for overlays. The 50-cent Pick-3 beginning in race five is enticing since I like Graling at 7-2 odds, and the second leg is a full field with several chances to get in a "price" horse, and race seven is another twelve-horse field with several contenders, which almost guarantees a good Pick-3 payoff.
