Arkansas received the commitment of linebacker Giovanni LaFrance on Saturday while on his official visit.
He said the coaching staff, fan base and history helped lure him to Fayetteville.
LaFrance, 6-1, 239, 4.8 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of New Orleans St. Augustine High School chose the Hogs over more than 15 scholarship offers from other schools, including Louisville, Utah, Arizona State, California, Tulane, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
He said he was trying to get cornerback Kristian Fulton to be a Hog. He's looking forward to playing along side linebacker commitment De'jon Harris.
