A Faulkner County man won $100,000 in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery's Powerball drawing, lottery officials said Monday.
William Lewis of Conway won the prize Jan. 13 after matching four white balls, the Powerball and purchasing the $1 Power Play option, which increased his winnings by $50,000, according to a news release.
He bought the $2 ticket at the Crackerbox convenience store on 1640 E. Oak St. in Conway. The store is eligible for $1,000 retailer bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Lewis said he plans to put the prize into his savings account.
