Arkansas State Police arrested one of Gov. Asa Hutchinson's sons Sunday on a DWI charge, a spokesman from the governor's office confirmed Monday.
William Asa Hutchinson III, 40, of Rogers was arrested at 6:45 a.m. Sunday on DWI, careless driving and implied consent violation charges, according to the Washington County sheriff's office.
He was released from the Washington County jail on a $935 bond at 12:23 p.m. Sunday.
The governor was unavailable for comment, spokesman J.R. Davis said.
The arrest comes months after the 40-year-old was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Conway. Alcohol was not involved in the August wreck, according to a police report.
