Police are searching for Shakur Shanden Sharp, 16, and James Lariel Sharp, 15. A news release from the police department described them as "persons of interest."

James Sharp was reported by his mother as a runaway on Friday, according to the release.

Watson died from multiple gunshot wounds at a Fort Smith hospital, according to an earlier news release from the police department.

The shooting occurred off campus.

The news release said two black men wearing black clothes and ski masks entered a home at 4700 Windsor Drive about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The men tried to rob Watson and a woman at gunpoint. A fight broke out between Watson and one of the assailants and Watson was shot several times.

The men fled in an unknown direction. It wasn't known if they traveled in a vehicle, the release said.

The university released a statement Monday expressing condolences for Watson's family and friends. Counseling was being offered for any student who wanted it.

A memorial service is scheduled for 5 p.m. today at the Bell Tower on the UAFS campus, said John Post, a university spokesman. The memorial is open to the public.
