18-month investigation leads to arrests of 15 Monroe County residents

Fifteen people living in Monroe County were arrested Friday on drug charges after authorities were able to purchase illegal narcotics during an 18-month investigation, Arkansas State Police said.

During the arrests, police said they recovered drugs and other stolen items, including firearms and an all-terrain vehicle.

Police said the investigation into the stolen property is continuing.

Arkansas State Police troopers, Monroe County sheriff’s office deputies, Brinkley police officers, Clarendon police officers, 1st Judicial District Drug Task Force officers and Arkansas Game and Fish Commission officers made the arrests.
