A fight Friday between two brothers left one man dead, said Sgt. Craig Stout, a Fayetteville police spokesman.

Police responded to a disturbance call at 12:56 p.m. Friday at 764 N. 54th Ave. in Fayetteville, where police found a man with a stab wound, Stout said. The stabbing victim was transported to the hospital and later died as a result of his injuries, Stout said.

The man's brother suffered minor injuries and also was transported to an area hospital, Stout said.

The men's names are being withheld pending the notification of family members, Stout said.
