Jason Germund Henry, 27, of 263 Garrison Ave. in West Memphis, was sentenced Wednesday in Washington County Circuit Court to 12 years at the Arkansas Department of Correction with six years suspended.

During an investigation in March, the girl said a man named "Allstar" acted as her pimp and had sex with her. The man sent her text messages detailing how much to charge for sex acts and said he was in charge of her, according to police reports.

Police said "Allstar" is Henry, who played one season with the University of Arkansas basketball team before being cut in 2009 because of academic problems.
