I-430 ramp to close one night for work

Application of a high-friction surface treatment on the Interstate 430/Interstate 30 interchange will require a lane closure Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

The ramp carrying traffic from I-430 southbound to I-30 eastbound will be closed between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Signs will direct motorists to Exit 128 on southbound I-430 and the I-30 north service road in front of the Outlets of Little Rock and Bass Pro Shop, the department said. Eastbound I-30 traffic will then use the Mabelvale West Road overpass and re-enter I-30 at the next entrance ramp.

The exit ramp carrying traffic from southbound I-430 to westbound I-30 will be unaffected by the work, the department said.
