Police beat: 8 pounds of meth found at shooting

While investigating a shooting in Little Rock on Thursday, police found 8.67 pounds of methamphetamine and arrested a 29-year-old shooting victim, according to an arrest report.

Police found the methamphetamine at 3124 Zion St. Thursday morning while investigating a shooting that left three injured, police said. Police also found digital scales and baggies, according to the report.

Gregorio Jimenez-Guzman, one of the shooting victims, was arrested at 7:07 a.m. and charged with trafficking a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the report. Police were holding Jimenez-Guzman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the arrest report said.

He was listed in Pulaski County jail's inmate roster Friday night.

2 in Little Rock arrested; pills, 'pot' found

A Little Rock man faces four felony counts after police found cocaine, drug tablets and pipes in his residence, according to an arrest report.

Police arrested Kim Seals, 52, at 2 Warwick Road in Little Rock Friday at 10 a.m., police said. During a search of the residence, officers found approximately 0.4 gram of cocaine, eight alprazolam tablets and two buprenorphine tablets, along with scales and pipes, police said.

Police also arrested Jalen Seals, 20, after they found more than 26 grams of marijuana, along with scales, located in the area of the house he lives in, police said.

Kim Seals was charged with possession of cocaine with purpose, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance with purpose, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance with purpose and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the arrest report.

Jalen Seals faces two felony counts -- possession of marijuana with purpose and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to an arrest report.

Neither were listed in Pulaski County jail's inmate roster Friday night.

Traffic stop leads to 4 felony drug counts

A 33-year-old man faces four felony counts and one misdemeanor charge after a traffic stop Thursday evening, according to an arrest report.

Deputies pulled over a vehicle for not using a turn signal and failing to stop at a traffic sign, according to the report. Then, deputies found passenger Jerome Hunter, of Long Beach, Calif., in possession of approximately 28 ounces of methamphetamine, 0.3 gram of cocaine, 0.7 gram of marijuana and approximately 40 lorazepam pills, the report said. Deputies also found a defaced handgun and a digital scale in his possession, according to the report.

Hunter is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine for trafficking, and three other counts related to drug possession, according to the arrest report.

He was listed on the Pulaski County jail's inmate roster Friday night.
