A man was beaten and robbed at gunpoint early Monday in Little Rock, police reported.
Officers responded about 12:54 a.m. to the Southern Pines Mobile Home Park at 9500 S. Heights Road. Carlos Ruiz, 39, said he'd driven his friend's black 2007 Cadillac CTS to the address to return the vehicle, according to a police report. Ruiz said he noticed a gray Dodge Charger parked nearby.
A man then walked from the Dodge toward Ruiz, pulled out a silver handgun and demanded the Cadillac, according to the report. Ruiz refused, and the man struck him in the face with the pistol numerous times, the report says.
