Little Rock man held in shooting over stained shirt

Police arrested a suspect Wednesday in a Fourth of July shooting that sent one man to the hospital.

Izishill Porch, 39, is accused of chasing down David Williams and shooting him in the leg at Mara Lynn Road and North Bowman Road on Monday, police said. Williams was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock and was initially listed in stable condition, police said.

According to police, Williams said Porch shot him after a dispute over a stained shirt. Porch was arrested Wednesday at the Little Rock Police Department's 12th Street Station at 10:30 a.m., according to the arrest report.

Police charged Porch with first degree battery and possession of a firearm by certain persons, according to the report.

He was listed on Pulaski County jail's inmate roster Wednesday night.
