Feline fanatics can get their fill as the Arkansas Arts Center, 501 E. Ninth St., Little Rock, hosts three screenings of the Walker Art Center’s Internet Cat Video Festival, 2 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday. 2 CELEBRATION

The Little Rock F̶a̶r̶m̶e̶r̶s̶ ̶M̶a̶r̶k̶e̶t̶ River Market* turns 20 years old and the River Market will celebrate in grand style, 7 a.m.-9:15 p.m. Saturday. In the morning, in addition to the usual fresh fruits and vegetables, visitors can expect music, a visit from Dean the Bean and the Garden Gourmet Chef Series at 9 a.m. Family activities, noon-5 p.m., include train rides, bounce houses and a climbing wall. Ballad singer Richard Marx, with “special guest” Barrett Baber, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday for the grand reopening for the newly renovated El Dorado Municipal Auditorium, 100 W. “Stop the Presses!” — an exhibit of art by staff members of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette — opens with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cantrell Gallery, 8206 Cantrell Road, Little Rock. Rock of Ages, a jukebox musical built around classic glam metal rock songs from 1980s bands, including Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Steve Perry and Poison (music arranged and orchestrated by Ethan Popp; book by Chris D’Arienzo) will be onstage, 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, through July 24 at The Studio Theatre, 320 W. A special Butler Center for Arkansas Studies Legacies & Lunch session, noon-1 p.m. Friday in the Ron Robinson Theater, 100 River Market Ave., Little Rock, will feature Arkansas Democrat-Gazette columnist John Brummett moderating a conversation about the politics of the 1970s with former governor, congressman and U.S. Sen. David Pryor; former Arkansas Gazette journalist Ernie Dumas; and Archie Schaffer, nephew and executive secretary for the late Dale Bumpers and campaign aide for the late Ray Thornton. The program is in partnership with the Clinton School of Public Service; partial funding comes from the Arkansas Humanities Council. Admission is free.
