A 25-year-old who drowned after falling into the Arkansas River at Little Rock's Murray Park Monday night has been identified as a Little Rock man.
A Pulaski County sherif''s office report identified the man as Marcus Deshun Turner. Turner fell into the river around 10 p.m., the report said.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported Tuesday that Turner and a woman were wading in shallow water when Turner accidentally stepped into a deeper area.
When police arrived, the woman was performing CPR. Responders pronounced Turner dead at the scene.
