West Little Rock bank robbed; 1 man arrested

A man who was not identified has been arrested in a bank robbery Wednesday afternoon at U.S. Bank in west Little Rock, according to police.

The call of a robbery at the bank's branch at 10720 N. Rodney Parham Road came in at 3:05 p.m., authorities said.

The robber fled the scene and traveled in a northbound vehicle on U.S. 67/167 toward Sherwood, according to police spokesman Michelle Hill. Authorities were able to locate him using a vehicle description given by bank employees, she said.

Little Rock and North Little Rock police as well as Arkansas State Police were all involved in arresting him at Gander Mountain at 5450 Landers Road in North Little Rock, according to police.

Authorities said the man has been transported to the Pulaski County jail.

Additional information regarding the robbery was not immediately available Wednesday afternoon.
