A 21-year-old homeless man has been arrested in the shooting death of another man at a Little Rock apartment complex in May, according to police.

Kihilil Deeshun Foley, who has no listed address, is being held at the Pulaski County jail on a charge of first-degree murder in the slaying of Mario Jerome Thompson, 33, of Jacksonville. Foley also faces a charge of first-degree battery, records show.

Thompson was found at 3:11 a.m. May 10 lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to his stomach inside an apartment at Westwood Apartments, which is at 41 Nandina Circle on the city’s southwest side, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported.

He was later pronounced dead at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

Another man, 31-year-old Antonio DeWayne Bland, was found lying outside the apartment with two gunshot wounds in his chest and one in his stomach. Bland was taken to UAMS Medical Center for treatment.

Thompson's death was the 11th homicide reported in Little Rock this year.
