A 23-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead at a local hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Bryant on Wednesday, according to police.
In a statement, the Bryant Police Department said the accident occurred when Ty Jackson was walking west in the 3800 block of Arkansas 5 and was hit by a vehicle traveling in the same direction.
Jackson was airlifted to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to authorities.
