Dixon on Magic Springs bill; 'Zeppelin' act at Rev Room

Pop singer Colton Dixon will perform at Magic Springs & Crystal Falls Water and Theme Park on Saturday. Dixon will play at 8 p.m. Season passes are $74.99 plus tax or $69.99 plus tax at Kroger stores; $59.99 the day of the concert; free for children 3 and younger; $36.99 for children shorter than 48 inches and adults age 55 and older.

Dixon, who performs pop and Christian music, finished seventh in April 2012 in the 11th season of American Idol. He has released three albums, A Messenger in 2013, Anchor in 2014 and The Calm Before the Storm in 2015.

Lawn seating is included in the price of admission, with limited reserved seating available for $8 or $10. Parking is $10.

Louisiana Soul Revival featuring Doug Duffey will perform at 9 p.m. Friday at South on Main in Little Rock. Admission is $10. (Doors will open at 4 p.m. Friday and wristbands guaranteeing admission can be bought.)

Duffey, a native of Monroe, La., has written songs for or recorded with a lengthy list of artists, including Keith Richards, Bootsy Collins, Rare Earth, David Byrne, Marcia Ball, Herbie Hancock and George Clinton. He has recorded nine CDs of his original music, and is also known for his photographs, paintings and drawings.

Flow Tribe, based in New Orleans, consists of six high school friends who got together in 2004. The members play trumpet, drums, guitars, keyboard, washboard, harmonica and percussion.
