According to his preliminary arrest report, Williams was stopped at the corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Stadium Drive on the southern edge of campus shortly before 2 a.m.

Police wrote that Williams's eyes were bloodshot and he had slurred speech, telling officers he had had one beer around 7 p.m. He later said the beer was a 40-ounce variety, the arresting officer wrote.

The officer wrote that Williams declined to submit to a breathalyzer based on previous advice from his agent.

After four years at Arkansas, Williams was selected by the Buffalo Bills in April in the 5th round of the NFL Draft.
