Two former Arkansas teammates will face off against each other Monday in the NBA Summer League tournament championship in Las Vegas.

Bobby Portis’ Chicago Bulls and Coty Clarke’s Minnesota Timberwolves both won in the semifinals Sunday night to earn a spot in the 8 p.m. championship game, which will be televised by ESPN 2.

Portis, the Bulls’ 2015 first-round pick, has built on a promising rookie season in summer league, including scoring 16 points and grabbing a team-best nine rebounds in the semifinals . He entered the game averaging 15.8 points and 9.3 rebounds, both team-highs, in the Bulls’ first six summer league games.

Clarke was one the best players on the Boston Celtics’ D-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws, last year and is getting a chance to shine and potentially attract interest from another team this summer. He scored 10 and had seven rebounds in the semifinal win after coming in averaging 8.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists.
