5:36 P.M. UPDATE

More than an hour after a five-vehicle wreck, only one lane of westbound traffic was open Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 30 near 65th Street in Pulaski County.

A spokesman for the state highway police on scene described the accident as a fender bender and said there were no major injuries.

As of 5:30 p.m., some of the vehicles involved had already been removed from the scene.

One lane of westbound traffic has opened on I-30 after a five-vehicle wreck Wednesday afternoon, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

A five-vehicle wreck Wednesday afternoon has shut down part of Interstate 30, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

The agency said the accident is on I-30 near 65th Street in Pulaski County. The westbound lanes are shut as of 4:30 p.m.

Arkansas State Police troopers are at the scene, the department wrote on Twitter.
