Police: Woman pushed to ground, robbed after leaving Little Rock Kroger

A 23-year-old Little Rock woman was pushed to the ground and robbed of her cellphone after she left a Little Rock Kroger on Tuesday evening, authorities said.

The victim told investigators she had left the location on Rodney Parham Road east of Interstate 430 around 5:15 p.m. when a man she didn't know knocked her to the ground, according to a Little Rock Police Department report. The report said the attack happened at 9712 N. Rodney Parham Road, which is several blocks southeast of the store.

Police say the assailant then took the victim's iPhone 6 and fled in a blue, four-door sedan.

Authorities searched the area near the store but did not make an arrest. The robber is described as a black man in his late teens who had a flat-top afro.

The victim suffered abrasions to her knee and hand, but she declined medical attention, police noted.
