The manager of a drag nightclub and his star attraction bend genders and a lot more when the manager's son brings home his fiancee's ultra-conservative parents in La Cage aux Folles (music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, book by Harvey Fierstein). The show's onstage 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday and July 29-30, 2 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Tuesday-July 28 at the Argenta Community Theater, 405 Main St., North Little Rock. 5 COLORADO 'SLAMGRASS'

Colorado-based Leftover Salmon and the Wood Brothers will headline the Homegrown Music Festival, billed as the area's first sustainable music festival, today-Saturday at Byrd's Adventure Center, 7037 Cass Oark Road, Ozark, on the Mulberry River. The festival will be "running solar," according to organizers, as well using recyclable materials for programmed kids crafts "and requiring our vendors to use zero single-use plastics." Tickets: $90 Friday-Saturday, $125 full event, including "primitive camping"; free for children 12 and younger. The festival will go on rain or shine.
