A 75-year-old Texas man died Friday in a motorcycle crash on Arkansas 7 in Perry County, according to a preliminary report from Arkansas State Police.
John Hoffman of Granbury, Texas, was driving north on a curve at 10:15 a.m. when the Suzuki motorcycle he was driving left the road, police said. The motorcycle fell on its left side and Hoffman was ejected from the vehicle, according to the report. The motorcycle came to a stop in a ditch, police said.
Police said the weather was clear and the road was dry.
