Police identify Arkansas man arrested in shooting of teen

Police have identified the man arrested in a Conway shooting that left a teen injured Monday night.

Conway officers arrested 28-year-old Jacori Frazier of Conway on Monday, police spokesman LaTresha Woodruff said, charging him with first-degree battery. He is accused of shooting 18-year-old David Jones.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported that Jones was taken to Conway Regional Hospital after he was shot near his home in the 600 block of Second Street. Police responded to the shooting at 5:03 p.m.

Woodruff said Jones was released from the hospital Monday evening.

Frazier was processed at the Faulkner County jail at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday. He is being held without bail.
