Two Arkansas commitments, defensive end Michael Taylor and cornerback Korey Hernandez joined Recruiting Thursday to discuss why they chose to be Hogs.

Taylor, 6-3, 248, 4.6 of Riverside City College in California officially visited Fayetteville with his father last week and before he left he made a pledge to the Hogs. He had offers from Utah State, Colorado, UMass, New Mexico and Wyoming. UCLA and Southern Cal were showing interest.

Hernandez committed to Arkansas in June and made a trip to Fayetteville this week for a two day visit.

Hernandez, 5-11, 175, 4.5 of Ellenwood, (Ga.) Cedar Grove picked the Hogs over about 15 scholarship offers from schools like Maryland, Iowa, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, South Florida, Southern Miss, Tulane, Kent State, Toledo and others. After visiting, Hernandez wasn't disappointed with his decision.
