Four people were arrested in a prostitution sting in Conway, authorities said Thursday.

The Conway Police Department said in a statement that its officers joined with an FBI task force and the Little Rock Police Department to conduct the July 21 undercover investigation at a Conway hotel.

According to the statement, undercover officers arranged meetings with women through text messages.

"In each incident, once the undercover officer and the women met in person in the hotel room and discussed payment, other officers then came in and made the arrests," police wrote.

Police said Ashuntia Pugh, 18, of Pine Bluff; Brandy Norman, 35, of Cabot; and Ashlee Phillips, 37, of North Little Rock were each arrested on a charge of prostitution.

Toney Gilbert, 25, of Pine Bluff was arrested on a charge of promoting prostitution. Police said officers spotted him dropping off one of the women at the hotel.
