Former KARK, KATV anchor returns as fill-in anchor for week

A former broadcaster who spent years anchoring morning shows on KATV and KARK will return to television next week to temporarily co-anchor KARK's morning news show, the station said Friday.

KARK said on Facebook that Matt Mosler would be on air for the week beginning Monday on the KARK 4 Today morning show. Mosler will be filling in for Aaron Nolan, who is covering the Olympics in Rio for the station.

Mosler anchored KATV's morning show before joining KARK in 2006. He left the station in 2014 to join the pastoral staff of a Little Rock church and to devote time to his own ministry.

KARK said a different fill-in co-anchor would be announced for each week in August.
