A man was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday at a meeting arranged through Craigslist, police reported.
Jesse Smith, 23, said he met two men about 2:27 p.m. at Eagle Hill Apartments at 3 Eagle Hill Court to purchase a white Xbox One, according to a police report. Microsoft only manufactures the console in black; a white version, the Xbox One Slim, is scheduled to be released Aug. 2.
Smith said the men pointed a gun in his face and took his cellphone and $350, according to the report. The robbers then fled in a silver-colored Honda Accord with a temporary tag. The vehicle was last seen on Baseline Road, just south of the apartment complex.
No injuries were reported.
Officers searched the area but made no arrests.
The robbers are both described as black and between the ages of 18 and 23. One stood 6 feet tall, 150 pounds and wore a black hoodie and dark-colored pants. The other looked to be 5-foot-6 and weigh 130 pounds. He wore a red shirt and dark-colored shorts.
