Work to shift traffic through a construction project on Interstate 440 onto a temporary ramp will require the closure of the I-440 eastbound on ramp from Lindsey Road and a detour Sunday night, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
The ramp will be closed at 11 p.m., weather permitting. Motorists wishing to access the ramp will be directed to continue on Lindsey and then left on Fourche Dam Pike to access I-440, the department said. The ramp closure and detour will remain in place until 6 a.m. Monday.
The work had been scheduled to take place Friday night but was rescheduled because of weather, the department said.
