Young country singer Hunter Hayes will inaugurate the 2016 concert series at Magic Springs on Saturday night. Blane Howard will open the show at 7 p.m. and Hayes will take the stage at 8. Season passes are $74.99 plus tax or $69.99 plus tax at Kroger stores; $59.99 the day of the concert; free for children 3 and younger; $36.99 for children shorter than 48 inches and adults age 55 and older.
Hayes, 24, is a native of Breaux Bridge, La., known for his mastery of some 30 musical instruments from an early age. When he was 17, he moved to Nashville, Tenn., and co-wrote the song "Play" for a Rascal Flatts album. He released a self-titled debut album in 2011, which has sold more than 1 million copies, thanks to its successful single, "Wanted." His other albums are Storyline and The 21 Project.
His other hit singles include "I Want Crazy," "Somebody's Heartbreak," "Rainy Season" and "Invisible."
Hayes opened a concert at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock for Rascal Flatts in 2012.
Lawn seating is included in the price of admission, with limited reserved seating available for $8 or $10. Parking is $10.
