1 RIVERFEST

The Flaming Lips, Goo Goo Dolls, Chris Stapleton and Cole Swindell are just a few of the names on the lineup for this year's revamped Riverfest, 1-11 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Most of the family activities were moved to the new Springfest event in April, but there will still be plenty of music, games, food, arts and crafts and fireworks in Little Rock's Riverfront Park. Weekend passes are $37.50 in advance, $50 at the gate, free for children 10 and under. The Flowing on the River kickoff, 6-9 p.m. Friday in the River Market, is $25 in advance, $35 at the door. Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled gets to take a bow with its sixth annual Curtain Call for a Cause cocktail reception, dinner and silent auction, 6 p.m. today at the Argenta Community Theatre, 405 Main St., North Little Rock. The evening also includes a Broadway-style variety show and AEDD's Acts in the Rock troupe will perform; Craig O'Neill is master of ceremonies and auctioneer. 8 RUNNING

It'll be a good, clean race when the theme-decorated bathtubs zoom down Central Avenue in Hot Springs. The Stueart Pennington Running of the Tubs begins with the parade of tubs at 9 a.m., followed by the race itself at 9:30 a.m., a wacky competition with some complicated (and somewhat arbitrary) rules. 9 ROAR

The T-Rex is roaring at the Mid-America Science Museum this summer. "Dinosaurs Revealed," the museum's new summer exhibit, includes skeleton replicas, a paleontology dig box, "Dino Scavenger Hunt" and animatronic dinosaurs, through Labor Day.
