A Little Rock man faces 20 felony and 10 misdemeanor charges after two homes and 16 vehicles were broken into Monday in south Pulaski County, according to the sheriff’s office.

According to sheriff's office reports, the burglaries were all within an area of 5.25 square miles in the Landmark community south of Little Rock.

Stephen Earl Quimby, 23, faces two counts of residential burglary, 16 counts of breaking or entering, one count of possession of a firearm by certain persons, one felony count of theft of property and 10 misdemeanor counts of theft of property, according to sheriff’s office spokesman Capt. Carl Minden.

Authorities reported incidents on Singley, Atwood, Bradshaw, Hilaro Springs and McAlister roads, as well as Brewer and Luna lanes, Arch Street and North Landmark Circle.

The first of two reported residential burglaries Monday occurred about 4:34 a.m. in the 4800 block of North Landmark Circle. According to another report, the second occurred about 10:05 a.m. in the 4100 block of Singley Road.

In most reports provided by the sheriff's office, including the two residential burglaries, homeowners said someone had been inside at least one vehicle at their residence. Some reported items strewn about their cars, while others said personal belongings such as credit cards, purses and wallets were missing.

Quimby was arrested Monday evening on firearm and drug charges at a residence in the 3200 block of Vinson Road, according to a report.

Charges related to the string of burglaries of homes and vehicles were filed Thursday, Minden said.

Quimby was on parole at the time of his arrest and was being held at the Pulaski County jail as of Friday afternoon pending a parole revocation hearing, according to authorities.

He also has an arraignment hearing set for 8:30 a.m. Monday in Pulaski County District Court, records show.
