A gathering at the home of Ellon and Rogers Cockrill on May 12 gave the Centers for Youth and Families board members time to not only socialize but to celebrate a successful year.
On hand for the center's annual board social were past and present board members, community leaders, corporate partners and volunteers, many of whom were acknowledged for their involvement. The Centers is a nonprofit agency that provides services that promote emotional and social wellness for children and families.
Rick Fleetwood was given the Ellon Cockrill President's Award. Community Partnership Awards went to Dover Dixon Horne PLLC; Cumulus Media; and Oxford Graphics. Taylor Gammill was given the Volunteer of Excellence Award.
