Man shot but refuses to talk to Little Rock police

A man was shot in the buttocks outside his Little Rock home late Sunday, police reported.

Officers were called at 11:29 p.m. to 3320 Longcoy St., just north of West 36th Street. They found several bullet casings in the street and blood on the back porch of a house next door, according to a police report. Three vehicles and two houses on the street appeared to have been struck by gunfire.

Police later found Zhraequon Johnson, 18, being treated at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock for a gunshot wound on the buttocks, according to the report. His injuries were nonlife-threatening. Police said he refused to speak to investigators.

Several other Longcoy Street residents also refused to speak to police, the report states. A witness said a man driving a white pickup had shot Johnson, but she refused to say anything more.

No arrests had been made Monday.
